Barbie

Standard

You always reminded me of a little doll,
tall, blonde, you know it all…
fashionable, friendly you know the rest
always looking good in a dress…
but now you’ve gone away
so far and never shall you return…
You could do so much in so little time
You changed my life
You did so much I don’t know how
and all I want is to call you now.
You were like a Barbie
my gentle friend
Sinful, yet perfect, eccentric and kind.
I’ll always miss you my friend
forever and always until the end.

Dedicated to Sara Ann Kelly; A beloved friend.
Died of leukemia. July 1985 – July 2001.
